The KU Card Center will be open for individuals, who have uploaded and received confirmation that their photo and ID have been approved, to pick up their card between 10:00am - 3:00pm on Mon, Wed, and Fri.  Our staff is working remotely on Tues and Thurs.  We are still responding to email and phone messages as quickly as possible to address your questions and concerns.


The KU Card Center is responsible for the issuance and management of the KU Card, which is the official University of Kansas identification card for students, faculty, staff, and other members of the KU community. We report to the Vice Provost for Administration & Finance.


The KU Card provides access to university facilities, services, cash convenience, and more. Approximately 13,000 – 14,000 new and replacement cards are produced annually. In addition to the KU Card, we issue departmental badges and visitor cards.

Other responsibilities include: software/hardware installation and maintenance; technical support and consulting; merchant settlement; program design and maintenance; and program marketing.
